Description

This edition presents an adaptation of the first movement of Ludwig van Beethoven’s iconic “Moonlight Sonata”, arranged for solo classical guitar.
Over an extended period, I have carefully edited, reworked, and re-fingered an existing arrangement by Robert Tarchara, with the aim of achieving a result that remains more faithful to the spirit and texture of Beethoven’s original piano score. With Mr. Tarchara’s kind permission, I am pleased to share these revisions as a newly realized arrangement, now available through my online store.
The score has been engraved entirely from scratch and includes my detailed fingerings and editorial decisions, allowing performers to closely reproduce the interpretation heard in the accompanying video. This repertoire is a true pleasure to explore on the classical guitar, and I sincerely hope you find as much enjoyment in playing it as I had in preparing it.
