The passion and the warmth of the musicians of the Orchestre Symphonique de l’Isle, conducted by maestro Christian Gort, invite us to feel the fiery spirit of Aranjuez’ melodies. This voyage starts with Hungarian Dances 17 to 21 by Johannes Brahms, orchestrated by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak. Along that path, the winds will lead us to an encounter with Jordanian guitarist Tariq Harb who will transport us to the south of Spain by way of one of the most popular works of the classical repertoire: el Concierto de Aranjuez by Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo. Our journey will not end before satisfying our desire to go on and hit the famous sounds of destiny of Ludwig v. Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Dear festival goers, get ready for a most ardent musical voyage!
