This is my arrangement of the Violin Concerto in D Major, Op.3, No.9, RV 230 by the virtuoso Baroque composer and violinist Antonio Vivaldi. This piece is comprised of three movements and is part of Vivaldi’s concerto collection “l’Estro Armonico”.
My adaptation aims at making this piece idiomatic to the classical guitar, while preserving its fiery, lyrical, and at the same time, virtuosic nature.
